Mitavachan completed his masters’ in Renewable Energy (PPRE) from University of Oldenburg, Germany and undergrad in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology – Jaipur (MNIT), India. Over the years, he has got considerable exposure to technical and policy aspects of Renewable Energies and Sustainability affairs; some of the places where he worked earlier include Next Energy, Germany; University of Oldenburg; United Nations (UNFCCC), Bonn; and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc).

Karun graduated from University of Oldenburg, Germany with specialization in Sustainability and Renewable Energy. He did his undergrad in Mechanical Engineering from National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur, India. Apart from technical know-how of renewable energies, he has gained expertise in Village Economics, Welfare Economics and Post Growth Societies at the University of Oldenburg. Some of the places where he did projects are: Timbaktu, Anantapur, India; Overspeed GmbH, Oldenburg, Germany and Fraunhofer Institute of Wind Energy Systems in Oldenburg, Germany.
He has short experience as project coordinator for promoting organic farming practices and acted as processing unit coordinator, at Timbaktu Collective, Anantapur, India.

Bhargava Completed his bachelor’s in Telecommunication Engineering at Sir MVIT, Bangalore from Visveswaraya Technological University. He has more than 8 years of working experience in the as Software Engineer. He has keen interest in farming and looks after his Mango orchard. He is working on Sustainable Agricultural practices in Bangalore Rural District.

Andrea Ballarin

Andrea Ballarin is associated with the Computer Science department of the FAU University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany where he is working on the integration of electro-mobility and renewable energy in distribution grids. He obtained a Master in Renewable Energy. And undergraduate studies in Materials Engineering at the University of Padova, Italy. He worked in the last years as a consultant in Next Energy and the University of Paris, dealing with different kinds of storage systems, electro-mobility and photovoltaic systems, and researching on organic solar cells.

Santosh Kumar Noubade

Santosh Kumar completed his master studies in Materials Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru and did his undergraduate in Metallurgical Engineering from Malaviya National Institue of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur. After his post graduation, he worked as a Senior Research Fellow at IISc in the area of mineral processing, material processing, recovery of metals and characterization of materials. He also has got practical exposure to renewable energy and sustainability activities as part of Mondialogo Engineering projects, honored by UNESCO & Diamler

Christian van Someren

Christian completed his bachelor’s in Materials Engineering at the University of Alberta in Canada, and has a Masters’ in Renewable Energy from Germany. Before starting his masters’, he worked at Focus, a civil engineering consulting firm in Canada, where he designed and oversaw various infrastructure construction projects, specifically in the areas of road, water and sewer systems. He is currently working as a researcher on renewable energy integration. In his spare time, he is trying to build a social impact assessment program for economic development programs in order to achieve "genuine" development.

Binod Prasad Koirala has a Doctorate from Faculty of Technology, Policy and Management at Delft University of Technology and Institute of Research for Technology at Comillas University, Madrid. He has more than 11 years of work experience in the field of renewable energy in prestigious institutes such as Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (2007), Institute for Solar Energy Technology, Kassel (2008), Fraunhofer Institute for Wind and Energy Systems, Kassel (2009) and Fraunhofer Institute of solar energy systems in Freiburg, Germany (2009 – 2013) and University of Twente, Netherlands.
